In 1997, Sung-Hyung, a young architect, moves to a seafront house name "ilmare". He is the first owner of the house. When he check his mailbox, he recieves a stranger letter dates 1999 from Eun-Joo, who was the previous owner of his house. What was written in the letter comes in reality.

Soon, the two find themselves albe to communicate through letters in their mail box and start forming a speical relationship.
