With an inlay full of political lyrics, it becomes obvious that this is not direct pop punk. Like the old ideals of punk rock, there is plenty of political rebelling (can you spell NOFX?), angsty rebelling, and youthful cynicism against the norms of society. Also, they tread outside pop punk territory by using big words like 'Novacaine' and prove their roots in the ghetto with titles like ¡®East 12th St.¡¯. The lyrics are uncut; as you can hear it on the title already. Despite all that, they retain their good ear for melody and hooks to stick in your head for years to come.
