Synopsis: In a heavy thunderstorm, a train heading from Seoul to Yeosu was running its last trip when a worker on the train named Mi-Sun suddenly senses a disturbing and chilling presence. The coaches are suddenly filled with passengers who appear to be from a different era and slowly she notices that even the newspapers are dated 16th July 1988. Eerily, on that date 16 years ago, a mysterious and tragic accident on the same train had taken many lives including both her parents¡¯. Driven into sheer terror, she soon realizes that others are unable to see what she was seeing as the vision manifests itself into the day of the tragedy. Locked up in a confined space and alone on this ordeal, Mi-Sun¡¯s terrifying train ride slowly unearths a horrible secret waiting so long to be uncovered. Six years since remaking the Japanese movie ¡°Ring¡±, director Kim Dong-Bin brings a new story that could potentially outdo his previous work. ¡°Ghost Train¡±, both a combination of grief and horror, is guaranteed to take the audience to new heights as it showcases stunning and realistic visuals coupled with intense performances by a top-notch cast of Korean actors.
